These days, the only person unimpressed with 2bers’ music is Collin Troy’s 2 year-old child. When I asked Troy, known as Eph’Sharpe, what his children think of his music; he said a typical response is, “You’re too loud! Can you chase me now!?” 2bers co-creator Luke Hale, known as BlesInfinite, is also a father. However, in the studio they have created an entirely new family of creations.
The newest addition, D.I.G., is slated for an April 7th release at the El Rey Theater. The third studio release of the crew, D.I.G. condenses more than a decade of songwriting, production and life experience into 40 minutes and 37 seconds. At the release concert on the 7th, Eph and Bles will be joined by the 2bers’ extended family. The extended “fam” includes Nathan Kappel on bass, Ben Levine on drums, Clyde Grey on keys and cello, DJ Intro on turntable and MPC, and Amanda Grant on vocals.
With a loyal and impressive fan base that spans the country, there will undoubtedly be some “Burquenos-at-heart” who are too far away to attend the Album Release Benefit Concert to get their 2bers fix. Fortunately, the first single and music video released from D.I.G., “How to Relax,” is available for them to love along online.
With another 2012 release in the chamber (Casual Anarchy), the 2bers will be debuting plenty of new work this year. Look for it at
